Subject: tie rod replacement

Message:
a few months back i took my truck to get the alignment done and found out that my drivers side tie rod was worn out. they told me that they would replace it for $250. i went to advanced and bought a new tie rod for $26 and i just havent had the time to replace it yet. i was wandering if anyone had done this before and if there is anything that i should know before i get started. i looked at it and i am going to have to take the boot off to get to the large bolt and i was wandering if anyone had any tips on how to do this. any help would be greatly appreciated.
