I am going to be replacing the spark plugs in my dak soon. I was wondering what everybody's favorite plugs are. I currently have Autolite Platinums! What would you say is the best? If it helps I have MSD 8.5 super conductor wires. Also want a new coil!!!

There's no magic in choosing one plug over another. More power? Doubtfull. Longer lasting? Definatly. As long as you stick with a quality brand, it will be fine. I generally use standard Autolites and change them every 25K miles.

If you have a stock with MSD box, you need something a little more than stock. But you won't need a giant monster coil. A Crane PSE-2 will be a direct bolt in replacement for the stock coil.

I am seriouslly thinking about getting the halo plugs that larry recommended. I just checked their website again and they have some figures about the little rock arkansas police switching to them and getting 8-13% mpg increase.

It's about the efficient burn.

If you get 10% mileage improvement, the break even point is about 5K miles. Give them a try. Why not? If they actually do get better mileage, then it's worth it. If it doesn't, Oh Well. It's only a spark plug.
