Subject: front drive IP: Logged
Message: i was replacing the u joints in the front shaft on my 95 4x4 and noticed my problem was like a ball and socket type thing between the 2u joints that conect to the transfer case. anyone know what that part is called. thanks

Message: You kind of lost me there but I think I know what you are talking about. There should be 3 u-joints on the front shaft. One in the front where it connects to the differential and two in the double carden on the transfer case end. IIRC, there is a small do-hickey in the center of the double carden, between the two u-joints, that centers the cage. I think that's what you're talking about. It's part of the double carden joint.
