 Subject: Ball Joint/Cntrl Arm Crack

Damn Dakotas! i was hearing a pop in the front so i took it to a mechanic and nothing, then im making a right turn a week later and the ball joint/lower control arm breaks off my frame! i took it to the dealer and they said they couldnt fix it beacause its not a defect or under warranty anymore i called numerous to try and get them to fix it!!!WTF do i do my option is to weld it back on or replace the frame. Fu$k Dodge!

Sorry i would not know what you should do... But i have had my
share of repairs for my dakota, and it seems EVERYONE on this
site complains about how Dodge refuses to repair stuff all the
time for whatever reason.. Where are all you guys from??
I live in Seattle, and all 3 main Dodge Dealerships have always
treated me well, never said no, and have even done free repais
to my truck, and its a 99 with over 90k miles, way out of
warrantee.. When i bought new brakes for my Dak, they installed
them for free at 88k miles since my oem brakes sucked, as
usual.. many other examples to but you all get the idea....
Maybe people here are nice????? lol
