I've got a 1997 SLT CC 4x4 and was looking at picking up a net tailgate for ~$15. I've found universal ones for full-size trucks. Now, since Dakotas are bigger than your regular mini-truck (S-10, Ranger, etc.) I was wondering if the universal full-size net would fit on my Dakota. Thanks in advance.

Hope you're not thinking the net is going to reduce drag / gain mpg, cause it will do the opposite. If you want it for some other reason then ignore me and carry on.

Creates turbulence / increases drag. It's why you rarely see anyone using them.

I haven't seen a net tail gate since the 80's and at tractor pulls.
