Subject: Got My Durango Back Today IP: Logged
Message: I just got my Durango back from the dealer after they did the warrany ball joint replacement (almost 92K miles). I finally got around to checking the play this past Sunday and found them to be quite loose. I just love those free repair jobs!

Message: No grease fittings. But free is free. These BJs are supposed to have been made properly. The BJs on my 2002 QC were replaced at 35K miles (they were making pops after 10K) and at 61K they are still as quiet as they were when installed.
Should either truck need BJs again I'll go the Napa route...

Message: That's great, thanks for the info.
I was really just curious if Mopar was replacing defective ball joints with the same defective ball joints. The new ones are better; so that is definately a good thing.
