I have the Jensen 1.5 DIN head unit with CD, Installation was easy. I also used an adapter that I spliced onto the Jensens wires. This makes the Jensen unit simply plug right into the harness that the factory stereo used, so you dont have to cut any of your factory wires at all, just plug the adapter harness in and GO!
I like the way it fits the dash opening, No Stereo installation kits are required at all, it just looks alot better than a smaller stereo would.
HOWEVER,,it is a Jensen, so I didnt expect it to have the greatest sound available, but after having it installed for four months I'm REALLY happy with it!! One sidenote though,, It will not play hardly ANY CD-R Disc's. It DOES tell you this on the package the stereo comes in but I tried a few of mine anyway. Out of six CD-R discs I tried it was able to play only two of them.
To this day Im still trying to figure out what I did differently on those two disc's when I burned them than what I did on the other four. Id like to figure out what I did so I can TRY and create more disc's like the two that DO work.
Still,,Im happy with the unit and it DOES have RCA plugs for an AMP or EQ if you choose to install one with it. I have an AMP and a Thunderform box for the rear seat in mind but thats a little ways down the road for me right now....just future plans.

You could always go for a different idea. Alpine makes the smallest footprint CD multiple CD player. Fits perfectly under the drivers side backseat of the club cab, route the wires under driver door, pull out stock cassette and attach to ariel cable. Instant cd player, and the s&%$ heads who like to look for cool stereos are none the wiser. Good sound, lots of choice, and no invitation to steal.
