factory manual by far wins hands down > Also costs the most > I have one for both my autos and have had one for every auto I have owned for many years > Nice big book with great pictures and accurate information > Buy them used on ebay > If you don't get excited, you eventually will get one at a great price > Got my dakota factory manual for 20 bucks plus shipping

i have the haynes manual and am very satisfied with it. it includes general information about the components of the truck, detailed step by step instructions for pretty much everything you wanna do to her and some troubleshooting guidelines.
