I have a 01 Dak Sport 4.7l 4x4 Reg Cab that came with 265/70/16, Im looking at 265/75/16 because thats the closest size in the brand i want. The truck sits much higher than the 4x2's that I see
but I have no additional lift. Is this tire size going to be that much bigger? There appears to be enough room to go a bit taller, anyone have 265/75/16 on their stock hight 4x4 Dak???

You may want to see if they have the brand you want in the LT (Light Truck) tire size variation if you are looking for a stock size tire like the ones you have. My 00 Dak has the 31"x10.5" LT tires. I think mine are on 15" rims though. I'm not 100% sure how the 31"x10.5" translates into a standard sizing format. Most companies make LT tires in addition to standard tire sizes and they seem a bit tougher as well.

Yes the 265/75/16s will fit with no problem. I have BFG AT/KO's and they clear with zero rubbing even at full lock. Here are some pics of my truck:

I adjusted the torsion bars 2" for extra clearance, but they will still fit a stock 4X4 no problem.

Im new to this lift stuff, is a torsion/block lift easy to do, any additional equipment needed or do I adjust what is already there. Does it effect drivability, the wear and tear, caster camber, alignment? Yours sits a perfect height for me, Ive looked at body lifts, but then looked away. Nice ride btw.

nevermind, got most of the info from another forum. If I dont block the back and just go up 1" on the fron the truck will sit somewhat level?
Will I need to have the caster camber/anything else adjusted?

thanks...if you adjust the torsions 1" your alignment will be ok. I have driven 5000mi since I lifted mine 2"s and the tires are fine.

To adjust the t-bars, park on a flat level surface and measure from the top of your wheel to the bottom of your fender. Then jack the truck up so the wheels are off the ground and crank the t-bars equal turns on both sides(make sure you are tightening, not loosening). Let the truck down and drive for a mile or two so everything settles. Then measure again at the same spot, repeat this process until you get the desired height. DO NOT EXCEED 2" or you will be riding on the bumpstops and this is not good.

I did ~1" torsion lift first (and alighnment, though it was still inside range) and the truck was sitting a bit nose up. So I added 1.5" blocks at rear, from performancelifts.com . Now it looks good.
