Has anyone installed a Snowsport on their Dakota. I've got a '01 V8 Quad Cab that I'm looking to put a light duty plow on (just for personal use). I'd be interested in hearing any installation tips etc.

I just installed a Snowbear brand personal light duty plow on my 97 DAkota CC 4X4. I know that you are asking about Snowsport, but I thought I'd chime in about the Snowbear anyways in case you haven't bought yet and may be interested in this plow. The install of this plow was very straightforward, it mounts using four of the bumper mounting bolts. No cutting or modifying of the truck is necessary. It is very easy to load/unload, and so far seems to work good. It is hard to give too much of an opinion about how well it worked because I've only used it for one plowing, it seemed to quit snowing after I spent the money on it!

Thanks for the reply. Isn't that how it always works... as soon as you plunk down your money and get the silly thing set up you won't see any snow for weeks!
