Has anyone installed the Curt front receiver on 2000-2004 V8 Dak? I'm wondering if it will interfere with my oil filter access panel.

I wouldn't worry too much even if it does - my plow frame covers that, but filter is still easily accessable through the left fender well.

Thanks! I really hate reaching up through that access panel anyway. The oil likes to drip down my arm and onto the cross member. I wish they had a little better design on that but maybe I'll just have to try the fender well next time. It might even be cleaner!

Cut up a 2-liter bottle to use for filter changes...I hate that window also.
Loosen the filter with a wrench, slip the bottle over it and remove it by hand...not a drop spilled.

Ya, even with the 2 liter bottle I still get a drop or 2 on the crossmember/my arm. Its not as bad as others, though some cars you would have to take off the skid plates to get to the oil filter.
