Understanding your driving style and the setup of your truck I'd say getting close to 18MPG is fantastic. All that power and fuel economy to go along with it!!!

Looking back through my records (yes, I am anal retentive about each fill-up), I found that on a trip to Las Vegas two years ago I got 19.5MPG. There were five of us in my QC, luggage in the covered bed, and I drove under 80 the entire time. (OK, a few short bursts to pass, etc.) It's not as good as Todd, though.

What's your left foot doing?

Again, I know others have had some results too.

There is a lot of Dak bashing on this site, so I thought I'd share.

Headwinds, especailly crossing headwinds, like from the front corner, really eat up some MPG. I was lucky to have nearly zero winds on my trips, and an efficient 4.7, QC, manual tranny truck.
