Message: I have a '98 Dakota and both the driver's side and the passenger's side seat springs are busted. My son-in-law's '98 Dakota has the driver's side seat spring busted. Is this a common problem and if so, how easy is it to fix. Thanks.

Message: The seat cushion springs on my "98 Dakota pulled out of the tubing "rail" at the rear of the seat. I used 2 hose clamps to go around the rail and then hooked the 2 inner most springs into each hose clamp. I did this over 2 years ago and they are still holding up fine.
