 Subject: Seat Springs

I have a '98 Dakota and both the driver's side and the passenger's side seat springs are busted. My son-in-law's '98 Dakota has the driver's side seat spring busted. Is this a common problem and if so, how easy is it to fix. Thanks.

The seat cushion springs on my "98 Dakota pulled out of the tubing "rail" at the rear of the seat. I used 2 hose clamps to go around the rail and then hooked the 2 inner most springs into each hose clamp. I did this over 2 years ago and they are still holding up fine.
