Subject: ABS light and Brake light on IP: Logged
Message: Alright here is my problem that I am having with my 99 Dak cc 5.2 4x4.
My ABS light and brake light came on a while ago. So I replaced the sensor in the rear axle and replaced the ABS Control unit under the hood. I reset the computer and when I start the truck the lights go out. As soon as I hit 35-40 mph the lights come on and stay on untill I shut off the truck. I cant figure out what it could be. Any advice would be appreciated. those warning lights are getting annoying.

Message: I would say looking the haynes guide and see what relays control that. Because it sounds to me like a bad relay somewhere.

Message: Wiring harness back to that sensor ?
Have you been off-roading , or doing anything
else below the truck ??

Message: I haven't been off roading , I checked the wiring harness last night and everything is fine. No moisture in the harness plugs , the plugs are tight fitting. So I don't know what else it could be.

Message: Check the front speed sensors. One of mine was shorting out against the inside of the wheel because the insulation had rubbed completely down to bare wire.
