Subject: 31" tires on 93 4x4 IP: Logged
Message: I am currently running a set of near bald Michelin M/S 31x10.50 on my 93 Dakota 4x4.
Time for new tires. I notice they rub only slightly when the wheel is fully cranked one way. I don not mind this but know it will be worse when they are new tires.
I am thinking of running 30x9.50 instead. I want to know if the 31's really kill the power as I have never ran stock size (235/75R15)??
Does the truck look okay with the 30x9.50 as I like the biggerr tire look???
Anyone have suggestions?

Message: I have new 31X10.5 BFG's on my 93 i have my torsion bars cranked and they only rub slightly i like the look with the 31's and i don't find that my V6 works any harder than it did with 235/75's i also find that my fuel milage is sllightly better with the bigger tires!!!
