Message: I own a 2001 RC 4.7 5spd 3.92 with anti-spin rear.
I was wondering how many people out there have the exact thing. What was the best mod you put?
Thanx

Message: I've got the same set up! I've been looking for someone to compare notes with. For now its still bone stock. I'm getting a g-tech in two weeks to find out what it will do stock. For me, I'm looking to get the most bang for the buck. I'm going to start with a TB and a drop in K&N. You gotta admit bone stock this thing freakin' flys!
Keep in touch jaimeq1@yahoo.com.

Message: I have one too. No power windows, locks or anything really fancy. Flame Red. I bet I have the only one in Korea though.

Message: I loved Korea! But a dakota must seem like a mack truck out there. Kimchi, Bul go gi, Capt Q Rum, and that imitation champaigne crap. But there is no comparing to Korean women! Its definatly a "different place" once you get used to hitting the grilled eel and pepper tents instead of Micky D's drive throughs.

Message: I have an auto, but the best mod for any set up is traction bars and drag radials. After that, you can spend money on mods that only help a little bit.
This is my second round with trying to get serious HP from a small pickup. Filters, intake pips, exhaust, chips, and all that stuff helps, but you spend a LOT of money for a few extra ponies.
You got the perfect set up already, so little mods only help a little bit. I would practice, practice, and practice launching and shifting to be perfect. The drag strip is by far the best place to go. G-Tech idea is ok, but you don't have time slips to prove anything is true or false.

Message: I have a 2001 4.7 5 speed 3.92 LS Club Cab Sport.
So far my performance mods are the G-Forced 4.7 Cold Air system and Flowmaster Force II catback. The cold air is by far my best mod. I am already seeing a 1.5 mpg gain. The cat back sounds great and everything but I didn't see a lot of gain from it. I'll be testing out the new throttle body with the new G-Forced cold air soon. That should be an awsome setup.
If any of you 4.7 guys want some info on the G-Forced True Cold Air System email me. Thanks.

Message: I have the same truck. All I have done is the home made cold air intake, but for $50 you cant beet it. I got considerable power and an amazing in cab sound.

Message: Dr.Q, I have the same setup and it ran 14.9 BONE stock @ houston Raceway Park on the Lasers. I haven't ran it again since I put the cold air on, but it will definately be lower.

Message: Dr Q, yes the Dakota does seem rather large over here and some crazy folks are driving full size Rams. It's fun to drive around since there isn't anything that can really touch it. Haven't been able to get off-base at all lately due to the situation in the world. 4 more months and the Dak will see U.S. soil again, so that is something to look forward too.
