Hello,
Anyone know if the shifter column on a 1992 is hallow or not? I'd like to relocate my OD button to the shifter knob like some of the newer Dodges have...

Here's how to tell.
First, find a 1992 model.
Whilst sitting in the driver's seat, apply one each hacksaw smartly to the shift lever. Take care that the sawblade teeth contact only the aforementioned lever, lest damage be inadvertently done to the vehicle dashboard accoutrements.
When the shift lever is cleft neatly in twain, inspect for a hollow stem.
Now you know.

I guess I could apply that method but to our old 87 Dak that is nothing more than a parts truck now... But it has spider webs... ewwww.. Plus im lazy...
