Message: Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are DIY instructions to program key fobs. I can't find anything on various searches.
TIA

Message: Well...once again I don't have my manual handy to give you the directions but...
You need to have one fob that is already programmed to do this, otherwise its a dealer only job. You can have 4 or 5 fobs total.

Message: Try this.
When programing a new transmitter, all transmitters intended for use with this vehicle, except the transmitter used to start the programing mode, must be programmed within the 30 second programing mode.
Turn the ignition on
Press and hold the unlock button on a currently programed transmitter for a minimum of four seconds and a maximum of ten seconds
While pressing the unlock button, press and release the panic button. Release the unlock button and a single chime will sound. Module is in programing mode.
Within 30 seconds, press and release the lock or unlock button on all transmitters except the original.
Success is followed by a single chime.
