Message: Personally I think this is a bad mod > My opinion here > locating it in cooler air tells the computer the engine is still cold and delivers more fuel to the engine > Now there might well be a slight gain in performance but nothing to talk about > To get this small gain will cost gas millage to some degree > The amount depends on how good you was at getting cool air to it > This explains the differant opinions on this mod > Guys are getting differant results of which none are significant >

Message: Not to mention the fact that when I dynoed, I tried one run with my AIT switched on, SAME GRAPH.
I think stock engines, and maybe the ol 'Death Flash' may benefit some.

Message: cooler thermostat may work better in some areas
and on some engines, otherwise need 89 or better octane fuel.
Don't get the " Deathflash " = too much loss of power
Also if in warm areas of US get cooler air to intake = don't use " open " air filter element
in underhood area -=- some K&N setups
