Personally I think this is a bad mod > My opinion here > locating it in cooler air tells the computer the engine is still cold and delivers more fuel to the engine > Now there might well be a slight gain in performance but nothing to talk about > To get this small gain will cost gas millage to some degree > The amount depends on how good you was at getting cool air to it > This explains the differant opinions on this mod > Guys are getting differant results of which none are significant >

So many problembs > So little time

Not to mention the fact that when I dynoed, I tried one run with my AIT switched on, SAME GRAPH.

I think stock engines, and maybe the ol 'Death Flash' may benefit some.

cooler thermostat may work better in some areas
and on some engines, otherwise need 89 or better octane fuel.
Don't get the " Deathflash " = too much loss of power
Also if in warm areas of US get cooler air to intake = don't use " open " air filter element
in underhood area -=- some K&N setups
