i think i have prety much narrowed it down to 2 things that could be my problem.....tcm or cylinoid pack,or packs.how much do either of those cost?

I'm having the same problem with the MIL indicator being on...I tried the trick of turning on and off and I get no reading am I doing something wrong? Please help!

My MIL Light came on in my 2005 Dakota last night.
I tried the on-off-on-off-on but no code appeared
(odometer stayed on 197,235).
