Where I live, I see a bunch. Our village's building inspector has an 05 CC 4x4, and the local Direc TV install place bought like 20 05 daks for work trucks. I know a couple people in town who have them, and I am liking the look of them more and more all the time.

I had my chance to trade mine with my wife's blessing, but I didn't like the look of them then and even after 1 1/2 year (almost) of seeing them around, I still don't like the look of them. Also the fact that they stopped making the R/T and won't put the 5.7 or 6.1 in them.

I think D/C is counting on Mitsubishi (which D/C partially owns) selling a lot of those Raiders.

I just bought a 05 Dakota 4x4 SLT with the v8 Magnum and am pretty happy with it. Would really like to lift it up. She's a little low for my liking. I tell ya though I like the power in this little beast. Put it sideways when stomped on it the first day I picked it up. Whats a good place to buy lift kits for it online ?

I got my '05 in late Feb last year, it was the only one I saw on the road for what seemed like months. I see them pretty frequently now.
Walleye - I'm not loving the ride height either...try performancelifts.com, search for '05 Dakota, they have a 3" body lift kit.
Josh - Dodge is jettisoning their relationship to Mitsu, which is going under pretty fast. Frankly, in terms of down-the-road-support, I think you'd have to have a screw loose to even consider buying a Mitsubishi these days.
