Subject: FUSES BLOW!! IP: Logged
Message: My fuses keep blowing out and i don't know why. When I got it, the reverse lights fuse was blown, so I replaced it. about a month later it blew again. Just wondering if any else has had this problem, or one similar to it. thanks for any input.

Message: Have you checked the bulbs? One could be out, shorting the terminals inside. Or just loose in it's socket, etc.

Message: Had the exact problem you do. Looked at the bulbs and wiring. Traced back to the backup lamp relay switch. On my truck (manual trans) it is located on the drivers side near the top of the transmission under under the shifter(just underneath the floor). The part only cost 30.00$ but was a bitch to replace because there is no room to get tools in. The biggest problem was working around the transfer case shifter. If you have a two wheel drive it would be alot easier. I also had to take the shift lever off and the rubber peace around the shifter to work on it from the top.
