One bulb blew out so I am going to replace both. Can anyone recommend a good replacement bulb?

Get whatever brand are in the headlights. I personally think it looks stupid when your fogs are different color than your headlights.

It`s for an 03 QC BTW. I have Silverstars in the headlights,I wouldn`t know if they made bulbs for the fog lights. Definitely staying the same color whatever I get! Thanks.

Just use any kinda because no they don't have silverstars in foglight form, but do use the number 885s they are 50 watts instead of 37.5 and they are exactly the same otherwise. But they are a heck of a lot brighter than the stock ones.

Ended up getting 896`s. They are 37 watts compared to stock 27`s. The 885`s are 50 watts,but are straight style,I needed the bulb with the 90 degree bend. I could of cut the plastic plate behind the lamp that blocks the path for a straight style but didn`t want the hassle. My stockers were 893`s I think(going from memory).
Silverstar does make fog lamp replacements,don`t remember if the are Dakota friendly though.

I thought the word FOG light was it's a YELLOW
light used in the fog.
I replaced my (what I call) running lights a long
time ago with true FOG yellow lights.
They work great in the fog and snow. Better than
running lights reflecting back into your eyes.

Yellow`s fine I guess,I use my fog lights more to augment the head lights. I adjusted the fog lights on mine up a little so they don`t point straight down like the stock setting(no one ever flashes me,even with theses slightly brighter ones). I can see around corners better and more of what`s directly in front of me. Just plain brighter,and I don`t have any reflection problems. I use mine all the time and did all right going three years before losing a bulb.

Need to rename the use of them to DRIVING LIGHTS then LOL!
Fog lights ARE measnt to shine really low, to reduce the reflection of the snow, fog, etc.
I'd be interested in getting them 55 Watters though. I'll remember that number for later.
