Message: Ever heard of it? You run it through your engine to clean out all the carbon/gunk build up. A friend of mine did it to his 240SX, and it ran like a totally new car. It sounded better and pulled much harder.
My 1997 Dakota (5.2L SLT CC 4x4) has 124k miles on it, and I really want to run this crap through the engine to clean it out, as I'm positive it's lost some power over the years since it was built in 1997. My question is, where do I pour it? I heard you pour it in the PVC valve, but I wouldn't know where to locate that. Help, please.

Message: This stuff works. I had used it on my 93 chrysler and it cleaned out the carbon build up in the cylinders. I fogged out the engine and let it sit for awhile and started the engine and fogged out the neighborhood. You have to be careful as to how much in drawn in by the engines vaccume. If too much is drawn in you can damage your engine. Take your time.

Message: I know how to do the overall process. As you pour in the fluid, the engine sounds like it's going to sputter and die. You slowly pour it. Just when it sounds like it's really going to die, stop pouring, then wait and add more.
But where do you pour it? A visual, please? =P

Message: I would think the pcv may draw it in too quick. On my 2000 dak there is on the passenger side of the intake manifold is a vaccume port that I would use. I treated the gas and have yet to try it through the intake.

Message: It looks like a little metal tube that sticks out of the manifold. On my truck it is plugged and is not being used for anything. I`m not sure if yours is also plugged or there might be a vaccume line that is hooked into it.

Message: You pour it into the throttle body.
Go to the web site and read all about it.

Message: Hmmm. On the website, it says to pour it in three different locations. To get to the TB I just have to remove the intake tube hooking up to it, right?

Message: I use it at every oil change. I remove my airhat and pour into the throttle body. 1/3 can in oil, 1/3 in fuel and 1/3 down TB.

Message: The site says to pour it into the TB then turn the engine off and let it sit for five minutes. Do I turn the engine off as soon as I pour it down? Also, do I turn the engine off each time I pour it into the different places (crankcase, gas tank)?
Thanks for your patience, guys. It's hard for me to learn things over a forum. I'm more of a hands-on kinda guy.

Message: start with a warm engine. i pulled the vaccuum hose off of my brake booster, jammed a funnel in it, and slowly poured the stuff in, while my dad manned the gas pedal to keep it alive til i was done. then turn it off or let it die. then let it sit. then plug the hose back into the brake booster. then turn it back on and man the throttle again to keep it alive until it runs on its own, spewing smoke out the tailpipe.
then i drove it around the block a few times to bring it back to full temp and burn off the crapola. took around 100 miles for mine to fully burn off or readjust or whatever, now i have slightly better gas mileage.
yay!

Message: Thanks, Jeff. I'll try and do it this weekend. I'll just run it through the TB, oil crankcase, and gas tank like the site said.
Also, how much does a can of this crap cost? $5? Can I just get it at AutoZone or Kragen?
