Many here like the "silverstars". You can pick them up at Autozone. I forget how much they cost off hand though. I like them.

Then you need to have your headlights adjusted.
Maybe you take some delight in blinding oncoming traffic, but you're gonna cause (or be in) a wreck some night because of that.

Silverstar 9007s run around $20-25 each. Lots of places have them, including WalMart. They're street legal, definitely brighter than stock, and people don't confuse them for high beams.

There are HID conversion kits which are even brighter, but those run around $500 and up, and are a lot more involved as far as installation.

Thanks you all. Has anyone tried the Xenon bulbs like EuroDezigns, Cyber White, or any others that claim to be 6000K instead of SilerStars 4500K. I have sliver stars in my truck right now but there not bright enough. Thanks again.

I've tried the "true" blue's on ebay...they suck.
I've tried Silverstar's they are good but they are pricey..
I stuck to the stock ones for now, but I'll probably buy silverstars when they are like 15 bucks a bulb instead of 20.

I run with the cool blue bulbs, I like them, they're brighter then stock for sure. They may not rank up next to silverstar but I have a silver Dak and I like the blue tint they give off at night. I think they accent my Dak very nicely.

After trying everything (including Silverstars, but I won't flame them) I now have a set of the APC 80/100 watt 9007's. I forget what the company calls them, though. I have received compliments on the pure, intense white light they produce. Blown fuses? Burned wiring or connectors? Melted Housings? Not yet for me. Our Dakotas have separate fuses and wiring for left and right sides-- is that a factor, I wonder? Used to have their relay kit powering them, but not anymore... HID kit in the near future, but did you know you'll lose your high beams with one?

they are completely adjusted correct. when i got my alignment done on my front end, they also checked the alignment of my lights because i told them about people flashing there lights at me. get your sh$t together bro before you start claiming stuff. they are the brightest lights that the state of georgia will alow. i have asked a cop about it. i do live in the retirement capital of georgia so there are a lot of really old folks who shouldnt be driving in the first place up here.

daveshotdako, try to fine aim the lights by yourself. This may make you stop a few times to aim it a litle bit more to the left or to the right or up and down. In most cases they are adjusted way to high from the factory.
In my view, if you can see 500 feet on low bean, it is to high and that causes dissipation of light.
One other way is in front of some wall or garage door. Make marks on the focus and adjust accordingly. Then custom it as on the first sugestion.
