Subject: Muffler Sound clips IP: Logged
Message: Would anyone happen to have a sound clip of their 4.7L with a Flowmaster Super 40 muffler or a Dynomax Ultra Flo? I've decided on one or the other, but not sure which I'd prefer. I used to have a Super 40 when I had a 5.2L, but I also know that mufflers do tend to sound different even on the smallest differences in engine sizes/pipe diameters.
If anyone has a soundclip of their 4.7L with either of these mufflers, please post it. I'm curious to hear how it sounds.

Message: I was just poking around underneath my truck and have a question for you all who have aftermarket mufflers. What would be the easiest way to drop in a muffler to replace the OE stock muffler in my 2000 Dak 4.7L 4x4 CC? The muffler is more of a tubular offset one than oval, so I'm not sure if the type of muffler I need to go with should be offset/offset or what? Not too sure if it will be a easy install or perhaps I'll have to get a special fitting either.
