Subject: Heater Core IP: Logged
Message: Hi guys the other day i noticed coolant on my driveway after heating up my truck to go to work in 5 degree weather, after looking around under the hood i see that the foam around the hearter core lines at the firewall is wet. I don't smell anything inside or feel anything slimy on the windshield. I'm thinking a bad clamp on the heater core line at the fire wall or just wierd luck because it was so cold that morn. does anyone agree. I have a 2004 quad cab 4x4 with a V-6. Also i haven't seen any leakage at work or anyplace i've been (I'm helping my boss move into a new facility so i've been pulling a trailer for the last 3 days). I called the Stealer and they said because of milage that my warranty has run out that all i have left is the powertrain warranty (so needless to say im not taking it in)
Thanks in advance
