Any of you have a scanner? I'm looking for something that does more than just read codes.

I'm interested in one that supports older vehicles (non OBDII) as well as OBDII. I have a 95 dakota and my wife has an 01 grand am.

I am looking at the actron Super AutoScanner Kit CP9150.

http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16143

The documentation online is a little vague. It says it has an idle test and can test sensors.

If anyone has one, I'd be interested to know what senors it tests and other functionality it supports. I'm also interested in it's ability to diagnose ignition problems (distributor pickup, coil voltage) as well as injector related scanning.

I see that autoxray makes a scanner for older vehicles as well. I do recall reading a thread about this. Larry from J&J says it's a good product.

If anyone has any input on these 2 vendors in particular, I am interested in hearing your thoughts.

I am looking for something relatively cheap. By that I mean not a $1000+ snap on scanner.
