Subject: Toggle Switches IP: Logged
Message: I just purchased an '04 Quad Cab SLT and need to install some toggle switches for auxillary lighting. There seems to be very limited room under the dash. I'd really like to have them look "factory installed" if at all possible. Can anyone recommend the best place for them?

Message: My 03 dash has 2 pods, recesses, empty spots, in the dash besides the HVAC controls. One is used for the 4x4 switch and the other for the passanger air bag dis-arm switch. My 2wd QC has both spots open which I think looks goofier than he11, DC should have installed blanking plates,,, this would have made installing aftermarket switches a snap.
Guess that's the reason they didn't put in the blanking plates, would have made it too easy to upgrade the truck and have it look close to stock.

Message: Has anyone had the dash bezel off their '04? I'd like to know what's behind the area immediatley below the heater/AC controls. It looks like a good spot to mount some switches assuming there's access behind there.
