Subject: replacing radiator IP: Logged
Message: I need to replace the radiator on my '98 5.2. It has a 5sp so I shouldn't have tranny lines to worry about, right?
Anyway, I took the shroud off and can only find two bolts, near the top, holding it in. Are there some others I am missing or does the bottom just rest on the crossmember thing?
Since I haven't done it before, this is my plan after looking it over.
-unbolt shroud (done)
-unbolt two radiator bolts
-disconnect upper/lower hoses
-disconnect overflow line
-lift out
install is the reverse of removal
It seems too simple. What am I missing?
Thanks (patiently waiting as the sun goes down)

Message: If you have a fan clutch, i would remove that as well that way you will have more room to work , and wont risk hitting the new radiator into the fan and damaging it
