Message: 295/30zr19 295 is the width of the tire, 30 is the heighth, Z is the speed rating, R means radial, and 19 is the rim size

Message: Brian22 is right exept that 30 means tire height from rim to tread is 30% of the width of the tire.
It's an "aspect ratio" number.

U -- 200km/h or 125mph
H -- 210km/h or 130mph
V -- 240km/h or 149mph
W(ZR) -- 270km/h or 168mph
Y(ZR) -- 300km/h or 186mph
ZR -- Above 300km/h or 186mph
