P265/70R16 - Spare fit underneath QC?

For my 2003 QC 4x4 I'm moving from 245's up to 265's. Will the spare still fit underneath? From what I can tell it looks like it will, but thought i would check with anyone who has already.

Also, do i need to have the something recalibrated or programmed so the odometer/spedometer is still accurate with the bigger tires?

I'm pretty sure that is the factory tire size on 4x4 Dakotas with 16" wheels from earlier years. So it will fit the spare bay without any problem. I have 255/70/R16s on two of my trucks and there is more room for a bigger tire under there.

If you want an accurate spedometer/odometer you will either need the dealer to program the new tire size into the PCM ($$$), or buy a Superchips tuner and correct it yourself.

The advantage to the Superchips option is you can put the one-time dealer charge toward a unit that allows you to change the tire size as often as you want for no additional cost. And, you can tune the engine/tranny for better performance.

Yes it fits my buddy has the stock 31" same size as (265/70/16) tire mounted underneath his QC truck.
