 Subject: ABS/SPEEDO SENSOR

My ABS and Brake lights stay on. However, my speedo doesn't work. This happened at the same time. I'm thinking that the speed sensor on the rear differential might be bad. Does it control the speedo also?

to an extent i believe. does your speedo work just above like 25mph or not at all. it's probably the RWSS in the diff, which usually has all 3 of your symptoms. there is one in the tail housing of the tranny that works the speedo only and would not affect the ABS/BRAKE lights.

At first it worked above 25 or so, then shortly after quit altogether.
