My problem is the computer has given me 1596 and 0551 codes to deal with. At present the cruise control does not work, 1596.... and 551 is aparently steering how can I inspect, what to look for, know what to fix

hey there. I recently dealt with the P0551 issue. Got hardly any help from the boards here. Nevertheless, check out my thread. I figured out the fix using the Haynes manual. It was extremely easy.

would sure be nice if the "Search" on this board still worked... big reason I try to figure out how to repair my own vehicle is because I don't have money burning any holes in my pockets these days. lotsa useful, friendly information available on this board, but now you have to pay to search through it. why the change???
