On my 93 Dakota 4X4 I don't dare apply my Ebrake anymore or it seems to get stuck on.
My '98 did the same thing? I was going to order a new hardware kit (springs and such) for my rear brakes. I have heared its a common problem? Is it the cable too with these things.
Any help would be apprecitated....thanks!

Do you use it often? If not, the cable and all of the hardware can get corroded and gummed up.
I have an auto, but use mine regularly even on slight inclines just to keep stress off of the tranny.

I never use it as it locks up.
Which cable is more prone to seizing up. I would hat to have to pull the entire assembly.

It wont lock up if you use it all the time.
Apply some penetrating oil.
