Hello all, just got myself a 2001 QC, and have found this site to be very informative so far. Can anyone tell me of a good place to put a cd changer in a quad cab? And also I want to customize but don't have much cash, anyone know if those tape on hood scoops look half decent? Thanks.

As for the hood personaly I would (and am) wait untill i could afford the whole hood, not just tape on. But your truck. How much modification are you planning? I haven't put a changer in my dak yet but since you have the quad try under one of the rear seats, unless that is where your speakers are going. You could try your armrest, not sure if it would get enough air to keep cool though. Good luck

What about possibly having it put in the glove box? It would probably have to be custom done but that would be an easy place to put access it!! Or do you have buckets in the front, if so put it in the center console!!!

Thanks all, I guess I will wait till I get enough for a real new hood. Anyays, thanks for the under rear seat suggestion, I'm just hoping I can find a changer that can fit down there.
