Subject: replacing oil sending unit

Ok, for all that don't know.. there is a special socket that you can get to remove/install an oil sending unit.

Advance has one for 11.88, but it DOES NOT work for DC products. According to the package, it fits all chrysler 87-current with 1-1/16". However, it is not DEEP enough. It only fit over the plastic and not the metal base.

Napa DOES have one that will work, part # 3458. And it was CHEAPER than the one at Advance - a first for me. It is 1-1/16" hex x 2-3/4" deep. It fits 3/8" socket wrench or you can use a 15/16" wrench.
