Well since my gaskets will be in tomorrow for my intake and plenum I figured it would be a good idea for me to tear into it today that way all I gots to do is put it back together tomorrow. Well I looked at my nice water problem...aghhh what a mess. And now for the fun part. When pulling the fuel rail off my #2 injector thought it would be amusing to come out, and it will go in but it has a lot of free play...about a 1/4" compared to the rest (none). Anyone got any ideas?

Water

Injector anything look weird with the injector?

You should replace the o rings with new ones. Rub some oil on the new ones.

That water in the oil is something you never want to see. When I replaced my plenum gasket, my injectors were a pain to get out and put in,even after using oil . I definately wasn't able to "wiggle" them out, it was more like yanking. I know autozone and O-reilly's carry those o-rings. Good luck.

You have quite a mess there, if you are lucky (from the looks of things I would say not) you have not ruined your engine. One of the worst things to have happen is to get water/antifreeze in your oil, it appears that you have run alot through your engine. I would bet the bearings took some punishment.
You should realize this now, but you never try to seal up an intake that has water passages with permatex or anything shy of new gaskets. Get your parts first then dissasemble, buy everything you think you will need and if there are parts you are not sure of buy them also, if you don't need them, return em.
There are specific torque specs and torquing procedures that you need to follow for both the intake pan and the intake to the heads.
For the o-rings Ford 5.0's work, put a little tranny fluid on them to install.
Good Luck

that's one of the reasons i don't go to A/Z anymore. they built an O'Reilly's right across the street. the people there(O'reilly's) are much more friendly and knowledgeable than the A/Z.

For some reason A-Z does not stock the Dodge intake set. I ordered a set last fall for my 01 Ram 5.9 work truck, it took ten days plus you have to pay shipping. A-Z never again!

If you make a scene, it's only you thats the fool, and you WONT get your parts any quicker. Get in the phone book and make some calls like OBIO3 suggests, there has to be more than one auto parts store in your town.
Be thankful that you have a car to borrow and you arent riding your bike thats in the garage collectin dust.
When I'm working on my auto's, and I need parts like oil and filters, the common stuff AZ, Kragen, PEP Boys is fine, but if you need real parts I go to the auto supplier that sells to repair shops. They have had EVERY THING I need the first trip every time, no dickin around, yeah I may pay more but it's right the first time every time, unless I screwed up.

Quit your whinen.... (to harsh ?)

You get what you pay for, OC

See b4, I had a vehicle to borrow and had arranged around original date it was supposed to be in. So after this, no I dont have a ride. And "that bike" is not an option so I have every right to "whine" thank you very much. I wasn't serious about goin there and freakin out I was just venting. So unless you've never complained about a single thing it would be great if you kept it to your self.

seems you might like the idea of not getting your parts on a timely basis otherwise you would have had those parts this morning with your refunded money > now there's nothinmg wrong with that if this pleases you > have a good day and a better one tomorrow

I talked to them and they said that the place they get their parts from cancelled my order for what ever reason. They reordered them and will be in tomorrow. I'm not aware of any parts warehouses around my area but something I'm going to look into. No obviously waiting for my parts is not something I enjoy doing but I hate the schucks in my area and autozone is the only place in my area with a better price and "could" get my parts to me quicker. Napa would've set me back til Friday (if ordered sunday) and they were more expensive. This is the first time I've had probs with Autozone. Kind of annoying that I ordered them Sunday and wasn't supposed to get them til Wednesday but after this crap they reorder them and I get them the next day.

Well not quite sure if everything is working yet...so far I'm just wainting to let the water cool so I can put more in and I need to get some coolant...if that works and my heater starts to work and I get back to 180 I'll be good.

this will make installation a little easier don't use oil or tranny juice use anti-seize it's the best i use it when replacing fuel pumps (to prevent leaking) and anything that moves on a brake caliper.....hope this helps!
