Subject: new install...reset pcm IP: Logged
Message: Ok so i just installed the 48mm flometrics tb and i have noticed a difference, but im not sure its better (V6). i know that the pcm has to learn the new configuration. Would it be better to reset the pcm, or let it gradually "learn" the new config. Also since im disconnecting the negative battery, will this erase my stereo preset config?

Message: Reset the PCM and yes it'll erase your radio settings. Atleast you noticed a difference. I had a V8 tb and CAI and didn't know the difference. Getting a new muffler after that though helped a lot.

Message: there is another way to reset the PCM w/o disconnecting the battery. standing at the passenger side fender, looking down at the PCM. disconnect the connector closest to the firewall for about a minute or 2.
