Since Durangos only come with automatics, I have been looking
for a 2000-2003 Quad Cab 4x4 with V8 and manual
transmission. Haven't been able to find a single one that isn't an
automatic. Can anybody tell me for sure if Dodge actually built
them?

Yes they did, but only w/ the 4.7. They never made a 5-speed/5.9

They are hard to find, but they did make 4x4 Quad Cab, manual trannies, with the 4.7.
As for the Durango, I have seen one advertised with the 4.7 and a manual tranny. I never went to check it out. Could have been an error in the advertisement.

Yes, I've owned two. They are rare though. I've only come across a handful. Where are you located? I know of at least one for sale right now in Pennsylvania that I saw on Autotrader recently.

Yes I had one. Sorry I let it go, when I found out how hard they are to come by. It was a Flame Red 01 4x4 QC 4.7 3.92 LSD 5-speed. It was loaded with the towing package, flowmasters, locked rear and 4" lift on 33x13.5 Swamper LTBs. Everyone liked my truck, including guys that weren't dodge fans. Did awesome in the mud and snow. Now I have an 03 RC 4x4 with the same setup, except it's an automatic, which I regret.

I have a '01 QC 4x4 with the 4.7L, 5 sp., 3.55 gears with LSD. I absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for an automatic. I bought it brand new in 2001 and the dealership had a tough time locating one for me without actually ordering one from the factory. Actually had to have one shipped from Washington and I live in Southern Oregon. Dealership kept trying to sell me an automatic (even throwing it in at no charge and it was over a $1000 option), but I wouldn't give. I currently have 76K on truck.

I'm still looking. Thanks for the replies, it's encouraging to know
there are some. I live near Portland, Oregon and would be happy
to pay a finder's fee. It would need to be one I could look at in
person within a couple hundred miles of Portland.
