So what do all you Dak owners do for work?
I am a welder/mechanic in the mining field. I work on very large shovels and draglines and I use my supercharged 93 Dak to get in and out of those bumpy a$$ mine roads.

I used to work on Blackhawk Helicopters, until I got promoted. Now you guys (those of you who pay taxes) pay me to travel all over Europe and the Balkans to evaluate Army aviation units and civilian contractors. It sounds good, but I'm literally gone every week, then home on weekends.

Yea Bubba, but at least you have that great German beer waiting for you wherever you go in Germany. I'm jealous. :)
And I read the other day that the military finally handed Rhein Main AB back over to the Germans. So my former base is history, so to speak. Keep up the good work guy, this retired AF guy appreciates what you do.

Obiewan, that "great german beer" is why I'm on a diet now;) Rhein Main isn't the only base closing over here. I can count 10 Kassernes they're closing in the next year, and the majority of 2 divisions are moving stateside. Germany thinks they have high unemployment now, wait until they get ripped from Uncle Sams tit here in about a year & a half!!
