i have recently built a custom enclosure to replace my middle seat and here are the dimensions if anyone is interseted( or can understand them!) what i did is kinda hard to explain with words but ill try.
the box goes up the back wall about 18" then out about4" (at 9 1/2"W)then i angled two pieces on both sides 2 1/4" each to create kind of a trapizoid shape, this gave me 14" to put the 12" speaker in....its at a 45 degree angle....at the bottom of the speaker area (14"x14" square") i continued the angle down to 12"....from there i went straight towards the dash to the 31" mark...at this point i just 45ed it down to the floor under the dash. thats the best way i can explain it till i get pics. the amp is mounted behind the passenger seat. anyone else done this?
i used a 12" pyle elite 2000 watt sub

Several people in the custom audio section have pics of similar but usually two smaller subs.
2000 watts for one 12", IF that's what it runs, is a sh*t load and un efficient if it draws that kind of power. Damn!
Most higher end subs actually draw like 300 watts.
Anyway. Good job. Pix are always a must on something like that.

im just telling u watt it says on the back of the sub....2000watts....its a driver..does that make a difference? im going to try to post pics
