Right at the moment i have a 2 1/4"turbo muffler on my 3.9. How much horsepower will i gain/lose if i switched it to a 2 1/2" cherrybomb.

Likely not enough to register a change on a 'butt-dyno' sheet...
Change your muffle because you want it to sound different, not for horsepower.
