Message: P3opil b!tching about sumones speling is just redikulus. I hate that krap. Anyways finding a 96-2000 4wd v6 with 75,000 or less is very plausible (dont know if that's spelled right and I dont care). Anything newer than that or with a V8 is a possibility maybe and it would be a great deal getting it under 10,000. I paid too much for mine but after a trade in I only paid 9k for mine....except when I added the warranty because I was paranoid from my last truck. My truck also had 99k on it when I found it. I could've got it for less but it was my second truck I bought and I went by myself....still learning. Good luck and happy hunting.

Message: I got my 2000 Dakota 4x4 V6 Reg. Cab with 73K miles for $8500 from a used car dealer. It's in awesome shape and was fleet maintained. I couldn't be happier with the truck and the price was incredible. Just keep lookin', you'll find a deal soon.

Message: Thanks for all of the input. Auto trader has showed several possibilities that I will have to call about in the morning. Any other websites that your guys know of? Oh and by the way English I know how to spell I just type in a hurry, because between school, work, and E.M.T. training I only get about 2-3 minutes to do extra stuff like post on this web site. SORRY!!!

Message: I hate to be that annoying guy that states the obvious, but be VERY careful with what you buy in this price range, as it is very possible what you find has been wrecked and rebuilt. This does not always show up on a carfax report. A good mechanic will probably be able to tell you if it's been reconstructed though...

Message: someone already said it, but I will say it again anyway.
those carfax reports are not golden. they do miss some things. for example if that has been rebuilt and the auto body DIDNT report it, or the guy did it himself...it WONT show up on it. there are number of different ways that they dont show up on the carfax. I bought a car one time that cleared the car fax report, then talked to the guy that had the exact same car and he said that his wife wrapped it around a pole and took out the whole passenger side. and yes it WASNT on the carfax. like was said, have someone look at it to be sure that it isnt rebuilt. those carfax reports actually give quite a bit of false security. I stopped using them and actually looking for the damage instead of relying on the computer.

Adam, yes the title should state reconstructed on it. there are ways dealers can get around this. just title the salvaged vehicle in another state and clean it up.

Message: Depending on where you are another couple sites are Carsoup.com and keepitlocal.com.
Which generation are you looking for? Reason I ask is the 96 is different than the 97+ you listed. I bought my 96 for 5400 with 85k and if your interested I can see if the 95 I had looked at is still available it has the same 85k on it. That said I would consider selling mine for the other if your wanting a 96 over a 95.
