Subject: heater controls IP: Logged
Message: My 1990 Dakota heater controls only opperates on the bi-level setting. I believe that the heater doors are not getting vacuum. There is vacuum too the charcoal canister but after that I'm not sure. At this point I don't know where to go or how to find my problem. Any advice welcome.

Message: There should be 2 actuators inside the cab. One on drivers side and one on passenger side. the line should run into the cab from the engine bay where the heater core is. It should connect to a T connector behind the throttle body. Check for pressure inside the cab at the actuators.
Also, there's a pigtail connector on the back of the HVAC controls. may be a problem there.
