Subject: Brake Question IP: Logged
Message: 03 Durango
Just changed my pads and turned the rotors. There is a small tear in one of the two caliper piston dust boots on one side. Is it worth getting a caliper kit to replace the boot I really dont want to change out a caliper with only 45K on the vehicle. I am in florida so cold and salt are not factors.

Message: change the boot........or it may rust up just from moisture. make sure you put silicone grease in there too.

Message: You might have to get one from Dodge parts dept.
Kinda spendy, but they should have them, or be able to get them.
