 Subject: Hood Release

The hood on my 02 dakota v6 is stuck. Pulled out release and will not open. Release cable at handle is slack but appears not to be broken. Any tips on getting it open

Your going to need a book that shows how it operates at the front of your hood > Then using this information use a bar/screwdriver maybe or maybe flat bar to push/pull or what ever it takes to pop the release

if you can see the wire that is connected to the release. then get some puliers and pull on the release cable.
