Message: Do you rotate the spare with your other tires? I am going to rotate soon and am wondering what rotation pattern to use if I do the spare also. Thanks!

Message: Because quite often spare tires are not on the same rim nor are they the same size, or are temporary spares, it's best not to include the spare in the rotation.

Message: I have a full size spare tire, and YES I do include it in the rotation. Of course, this means that when the time comes to buy new tires again, I will have to buy 5, not 4. But, it also means that my set of tires will will last 25% longer since 1 out of 5 tires gets to rest.
I would recommend including it in the rotation but only if its a full size, and not some worthless little donut tire.

Message: IF you do have a full size spare then do use it in your rotation like Tiger mentions. Take your front tires and cross them over when moving them to the rear. The rear tires move straight foward. But now throw in the spare. I take my right front and it becomes my new spare. The old spare goes to the left rear. So, RF to spare, spare to LR,LF to RR,RR to RF, and LR to LF.
