Yesterday my bro in law and I went to South Phoenix to wonder some salvage yards in hopes to find a 318/360 intake for him to play with, and for some ideas for my Duster.
We came across this place. I couldn't stop from laughing so hard!
At first, the Miata with the funky front clip and the Honda(s) with the wanna-be Suburu hood scoops didn't look any different than what i now see on a daily basis.
Another defenseless Miata.
I hope no one here condones the use (and waste) of FAKE hood scoops on cars.
We all like to do our own "mods", but something for the LOOKS is just stupid as fukk if it don't work!
It was clear that these guys "customized" these little sh*t box cars, and sold them as "performance" enhanced.

Cool. I found one with the HOOD open.
Let's SEE what kind of performance these cars have, and get a look at these hood "scoops".
There isn't a hole cut under ANY of these scoops.
At best, they have "HOT AIR" intake kits LOL!!!!
What a fukkin' waste of effort if you ask me!
BTW. Down here, most shop's signs are NOT in English.
This one was out front. But that's surprising!

Who said he was being racist with this post? He was in South Phoenix, which by my geography lesson is in the UNITED STATES. He said the signs weren't in English, which is a valid point. They are in the United States where English is the official language so why shouldn't they be in English?
I don't know where you get off asking where the next Klan meeting is? But keep checking back, I'm sure there is someone on here that will kindly answer that question for you.
Oh yeah...if you haven't figured it out by now, the word "ricer" is not a racist term. Do you know what it means?

The term "ricer" is racist. It refers to drivers, typically Asian, of imported cars. Though some white haters try to convince themselves that "all people eat rice", that is moot. It doesn't refer to diet. It's a racist term coined by white haters to demean a visible minority. Just like the Confederate flag. Just like the burning cross.

Jake, YOU are the one that starting calling people racist. No one said anything about racism and what he posted about the cars was not racist.
It seems someone like you just wants to call people out for no reason whatsoever.
The term ricer is being used very loosely in the import (and non import) car community. It doesn't necessarily refer to the person driving the car, it sometimes refers to the car itself as being from Asia. Yeah we know they eat rice. We eat rice too. Big effin deal.
Before you start slamming someone for what you THINK they said or meant, take a look in the mirror man. It's always the person that calls out someone for being racist who is actually the racist themself.

The Confederate Flag is not racist Jake. People who use it at KKK events are the racist ones. How can a flag be racist? It is a symbol. Symbols aren't racist. They can't differentiate what color someone's skin is.
The use of a symbol by A PERSON can be construed as racist but the symbol itself is not. Like you said, research stuff before you post crap on the internet.

In context, the word 'ricer' refers to the vehicles, not to any person.

My sister is one of them and i thinks its a great scene to get ivolved with, as long as you dont street race then by all means... i dont give a rats ass about the audio crap all i care about are the go fast parts and how fast you can make these 4 banger go. i am not a fan of these fake hood scoops, if your gonna get a hood scoop get a real hood scoop, dont HALF ASS it. go at it full bore. but thats my opinion.
