Just wanted to thank all of you for all your help. I am no longer a dakota owner. this past weekend i hydroplaned in the rain going a little too fast which is my fault, but insurance totalled the truck, so now being gas is soo high i think i will get a small car due to a high volume of travelling i do to get to work. well thankyou all once again. take care. *remember not to drive too fast in the rain LOL!!

Ah, You are better off. Dakota's are such SH*T. You would probably had pay a ton of money for a new tranny or an engine pretty soon b/c dakota's are such poor quality pieces of SH*T. Go with a nice chevy or ford car and you will be a lot better off in the long run. DAKOTA'S SUCK A**. THEY ARE SUCH PIECES OF SH*T!
